Some Aspects of Persistent Homology Analysis on Phase Transition: Examples in an Effective QCD Model with Heavy Quarks

چکیده

Recently, persistent homology analysis has been used to investigate phase structure. In this study, we apply the QCD effective model with heavy quarks at finite imaginary chemical potential; i.e., Potts suitably tuned external field. Since try obtain a deeper understanding of relationship between and transition in QCD, consider potential because clear transition, which is closely related confinement-deconfinement exists. actual analysis, employ point-cloud approach homology. addition, fluctuation diagrams additional information on spatial topology transition.

QCD factorization with heavy quarks

Recent improvements [1] of the next-to-leading log x (NLx) results [2] in the BFKL framework, have stabilized the small-x behaviour in QCD, so that a phenomenological analysis of deep inelastic processes (DIS) seems now possible. However, both the gluon density (satisfying the improved equation) and the impact factors are needed in order to use k-factorization [3] to compute DIS or double DIS p...

Chiral Phase Transition in Lattice QCD with Wilson Quarks

The nature of the chiral phase transition in lattice QCD is studied for the cases of 2, 3 and 6 flavors with degenerate Wilson quarks, mainly on a lattice with the temporal direction extension N t = 4. We find that the chiral phase transition is continuous for the case of 2 flavors, while it is of first order for 3 and 6 flavors.

QCD phase transition with chiral quarks and physical quark masses.

We report on the first lattice calculation of the QCD phase transition using chiral fermions with physical quark masses. This calculation uses 2+1 quark flavors, spatial volumes between (4 fm)(3) and (11 fm)(3) and temperatures between 139 and 196 MeV. Each temperature is calculated at a single lattice spacing corresponding to a temporal Euclidean extent of N(t) = 8. The disconnected chiral sus...

Perturbative QCD calculations with heavy quarks

Description of the higher order QCD effects in heavy quark processes is important in view of the improving experimental precision. Ongoing efforts to determine the CKM matrix elements motivate a thorough theoretical description of B meson decays (for a review see ). These studies are made difficult by the complexity of the initial state, however even their conceptually simplest part — perturbat...

Heavy Quarks and Lattice Qcd

The study of flavorand CP -violation is a vital part of particle physics [1]. Often lattice QCD is needed to connect experimental measurements to the fundamental couplings of quarks, which, in the Standard Model, are elements of the CabibboKobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix. Usually the test of CKM is drawn as a set of constraints on the apex of the so-called unitarity triangle (UT). The Particle D...
